Four Corps Members Die During Service In Cross River

Four members of the 2011 Batch ‘C’ National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, who served in Cross River State died during the service year, State Coordinator of the agency, Mr. Nkereke Ibangha, has said.

Ibangha, who disclosed this at the passing out ceremony of the 2011 Batch ‘C’ corps members in Calabar, yesterday, expressed sadness at the loss of the young people while serving their father land.

He said of the 1,997 members who passed out, 20 distinguished themselves, thereby winning the state governor’s award.
