Ivoirian forward Gervinho has joined Italian Serie A side AS Roma from Arsenal in an £8m deal.
Gervinho Joined the Gunners in 2011.
Gervinho, who began his career at ASEC Mimosas and Toumadi, moved to Europe to play for the now defunct Belgium side, Beveren, in 2004, before moving to France to play for Le Mans and Lille between 2007 and 2011.
A statement released by the London club read:
Everyone would like to thank Gervinho for his contribution for the club and wish him well for his future career.
After winning the Ligue 1 and Coupe France double in 2011, the 26-year-old forward moved to the Emirate Stadium where he scored 11 goals for the Gunners.
He has earned 45 caps with the Elephants of Ivory Coast scoring 13 goals in the process. He was part of the team that lost to Nigeria in the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
