Patience Jonathan to return today – Report

Patience Jonathan  has been scheduled to return to the country today (Thursday) after about six of undergoing treatment abroad, Saharareporters, reported.
The report said a presidential jet was scheduled to fly out of Abuja on Wednesday night to bring   back President Goodluck Jonathan’s wife  home.
Saharareporters quoted presidency sources on Wednesday  as saying that the wife of the President would return to the country early today  barring any unexpected developments,.
According to the report, Patience  was flown overseas  nearly six weeks ago after developing complications from a cosmetic procedure she had undertaken in Dubai.
It  further  said that upon returning to Nigeria from Dubai, the President’s wife was  allegedly flown  to Germany in an air ambulance following an emergency which was  allegedly  diagnosed  her with  “food poisoning”.
SaharaReporters said its investiigation  revealed that her  condition was more complicated and precarious.  Among others, in the early stages she lost her power of speech for four days.
Her spokesman, Ayo Osinlu, had earlier told journalists that the President’s wife was only resting abroad after the stress of hosting African First Ladies recently.
Jonathan on Saturday visited his wife in Germany in company with two of their children.
The visit was aired on the Nigerian Television Authority on Sunday evening.
In the short footage, Patience was seen to be in high spirit as she took photographs with the children as well as her husband and members of his delegation.
Efforts by The PUNCH to speak with Osinlu on Wednesday did not yield result as he did not pick calls made to his mobile telephone line.
