The suspects, including a woman, were paraded by the state police commissioner, Umaru Manko.
One of the suspects giving an account of their operation said they go out together when they see any rich man parked; they go to block him and carry him away.
Mr Manko mentioned the items recovered as One AK 49 Rifle, 5 magazines, 1 Toyota pickup van, 1 Toyota Matrix, 1 Boxer motorcycle and 1 steer motorcycle.
Also arrested was a military officer, Samuel Johnson, who has been impersonating for four years. Items recovered from him where military uniforms, belts and three police walkie talkie were found in his home.
On parade also were two young men from Benin Republic and Ghana who were found with 4 pop actions, 2 AK 47 Rifle, 2 single barrel guns and hundreds of live ammunition.
