Video: Federal Polytechnic NEKEDE Female Hostel Razed By Fire!

Pandemonium came into place yesterday at the Federal Polytechnic Owerri, NEKEDE as fire razed through Female Hostel B. The incident happened to be a terrible one as students lost a lot of goodies and credentials.
Information reaching us from our correspondents this morning reveals that the Federal Polytechnic Owerri, NEKEDE Female Hostel B was razed by fire yesterday. The fire was said to be caused by a misunderstanding between two female friends in the hostel.
Our correspondents gathered that one out of the two friends cooked indomie and left her friend in the room with a thought that her friend will help her check the cooked noodles. After some time, the other girl who was supposed to check the food got angry and went away too due to the disputes between the two, names with-held.

It was learnt that the cooked food got burnt, gradually got into the door-blind later razed into the roof before taking the entire building. Before students who went for lectures that yesterday return to the hostel, it was another story has the fire got the whole building. Students wept seriously for their belongings such as laptops, charged phones, credentials, and various precious things. When heard about the incidence, the Jumbo boys hostel residents got to the scene to help rescue some precious things of their fellow students trying to quench the fire with mixed water with Omo before the fire service later came with fire extinguishers to seize the fire.

The school managing board later console the students who lost their precious goods due to the fire outbreak, promising them that they will see to it that such incidence be eradicated in the school campus. Our correspondents also sympathized with the Female Hostel B students for the misfortune.
