The
funeral of model and law-school graduate Reeva Steenkamp – slain by her
boyfriend Oscar Pistorius – was held in South Africa yesterday.
A
memorial service took place in a chapel in her home town of Port
Elizabeth, before her body was cremated at a private ceremony attended
by more than 100 relatives and friends. Amid the grief, mourners at the
funeral demanded punishment for her boyfriend, Oscar Pistorius who shot
her several times leading to her death.

Personally, I hope Oscar is innocent of premeditated murder. Why would he throw what he has accomplished away? He is known worldwide so why kill someone knowing you will be hated by thousands if not millions, never run competitively again and have your life and career over?
I agree that there are probabilities with his story as there are with the prosecutions too! I just hope Barry Roux and the defense team know what they're saying and clear Oscars name. I can't imagine what Oscar and his family are going through if this was an accident, but my heart breaks for Reeva and her family. Seeing happy pictures of the 2 together is so upsetting.
