No fewer than five lives were lost at the weekend in multiple
accidents on the Asaba-Benin Expressway, which also left 11 others
injured.
The accidents which involved a Dangote truck with registration
number: SNK 77 XA, an Iveco lorry with registration number: KWA 12 XA, a
Mitsubishi L300 commercial bus plying Asaba-Onitsha with registration
number: GDD 295 XA and a Nissan Quest space wagon car marked: DX 219 FST
occurred at about 7.30am along the expressway by the popular Hausa
Market in Asaba.
